"INVITING INVENTION" • WEEK ONE
Regent Theater • Sept. 19, 2006

Here are some photos from week one
of the "Inviting Invention" series:

The audience changes their point of view - literally --
when they're onstage to experience performance from the performer's viewpoint.

A spontaneous song and dance breaks out during the Blues.

Event Description: Week One of the "Inviting Invention" Performance Exploration Series. For more information: Tour Schedule    Press Release

We were delighted by how many kids there were in the audience for the first "Inviting Invention" show. It was a great event for kids because it was such an interactive evening. All "Inviting Invention" shows may not be as accessible to kids. Though kids are welcome at all of them, some weeks may be more ... uh ... cerebral than others. There's a note on the Tour Schedule page identifying which weeks we think are likely to be the most fun for kids.

Even for shows that are a little less active, the first part of each show is likely to be the most entertaining for kids, so you can always bring them for the first part and then leave if they lose interest. To make that a more affordable option, check for discount tix on the tour schedule.
