Whew! I escaped Boston just a few hours before the Bomb Cyclone hit – and I just got back from the NYC Chamber Music America conference which was all about the Jazz-Classical connection – which is at the heart of my own concerts, compositions and coaching. I can’t wait to share how much the conference inspired me.
I have two important events coming up where I’ll be sharing just that – a LIVE SHOW and a FREE WEBINAR (and a TEDx talk!) – where I’d love to connect with you — and I’d love your help spreading the word – so I made you a short video all about it from my studio this morning and put the links below. All the info is below – or watch me talking really fast in the video. I can’t wait to see you!
#1 – My First Solo Show of the Year
It’s Sat. Feb. 3rd in the Boston area. You can buy tickets yourself or buy them for your friends if you’re not in the Boston area.
I want you to be there to see how one person has deconstructed and in reinvented an instrument that was a classical instrument, was in the back of the orchestra, took it down to its essence, and then combine the styles that I love – Latin Blues, Flamenco, and Musical Theater – the things that are uniquely me to be able to express and share my human experience in music.
Or just send them to http://www.HipHarp.com, my website and you can find info on the Events Page.
#2 – FREE Online Training in Creative Training & the 7 Strings of Passion
To learn how to express the passions in you that you have in life – even if they seem like complete opposites like jazz and classical, or playing the harp and moving around the stage — whatever it is for you – come to my next FREE online webinar called “What are YOUR Strings of Passion?”
It’s a one hour workshop about the 7 principles that take you from any creative impulse to its creative expression and it’s FREE. So come learn the 7 principles that take any creative IMPULSE through to creative EXPRESSION, in the workshop “What are YOUR Strings of Passion?” This will be meaningful whether you’re a musician or not, whether you play the harp or not – so I hope I see you there. And don’t worry, if you can’t make it live you’ll get a replay link so register now either way.
Sign up now. Tell your friends and come live or get the replay. I cannot wait to share this with you.
p.s. this little gif below is just an experiment. It links to the vide that’s embedded above but I thought you might think it’s fun so I put it in here.
