Invention & Alchemy "Second Maquette" Slide Show*
In September 2005, two months before the filming of "Invention & Alchemy," Deborah Henson-Conant, conductor David Lockington, Producer Jonathan Wyner and an intrepid ensemble of musicians created a "mockup" of the DVD filming in front of a select audience. In this slideshow you can see all the elements you'll see in the final full-scale version of the project, but "in miniature." Watch the DVD slideshow to see how these sceens ended up looking in the final DVD.

In this slideshow you'll see the following performers in addition to Deborah:
David Lockington (Conductor / Cello)
Karen Montanaro (Dance / Choreography)
Emily Senturia (Associate Conductor / Violin)
Tera Gorsett (Violin) - Lauren Gage (Viola)
Joanna Morrison (Cello) - Logan Coale (Double Bass)
Jennifer Hazel (Flute) - Ryan Yure (Clarinet)
Jonathan Wyner (Tuba / French Horn / Bubbles)
Robert Schulz (Percussion / Timpani)

*Wondering why it's called the "Second Maquette?" Four months previous, in May of 2005, Deborah, Jonathan and members of the Boston Classical Orchestra presented the "First Maquette." So, basically, the entire project was prepared, performed, recorded and edited three times.
