(note
- you may be asked to create a Wild Woman Outfitters "account'
if you buy tix via this route. The process seems a little invasive
at first, but just to give you a heads-up, this website is technically
for the Wild Women Outfitters retail store. They're kindly offering
their services to process ticket sales for this event - but they
can only do that via their standard mail-order process. It's a
little like if you were ordering concert tix through the LLBean
on-online catalogue, so it feels weird at first - like, they ask
for your credit card and contact info before you even order the
tix - but if you know that in advance, it helps)

Deborah Henson-Conant
One-Woman Show
and ... Birthday-Bash-and-a-Half
$22.50 adv / $25 day of show
If you've ever
been to one of Deborah's Birthday Bash concert, you know what's
in store. She normally performs those shows in November (on her
birthday) but because of her tour schedule last year, her annual
Birthday Bash had to be postponed. We figured Mother's Day was a
great alternative -- it's just about her half-birthday ... and without
a mother, NONE of us would have birthdays, right? People fly in
from all over the country for these annual Bash concerts -- so get
your tickets early, come to the show, hold on to your seat and save
room for some birthday cake.

Deborah
performs her orchestral show all over the US with symphony orchestras.
The Boston-area crowd rarely gets to see that side of Deborah,
so this special Mother's Day Matinee will give people who've only
seen Deborah's solo shows a small taste of what the rest of the
country sees when conductor Steven Lipsitt and members of the
Boston Classical Orchestra join Deborah on-stage.
This
is the second time she and Lipsitt have shared the stage -- the
first time was in 2001 when they premiered Henson-Conant’s
orchestral suite “Stress Analysis of a Strapless Evening
Gown” with the Springfield Symphony.
This
show includes many of Deborah's most-requested tunes -- but with
the chamber ensemble of string quartet, flute, clarinet, bass
and percussion.
This special Mother’s Day Matinee is a sneak preview of
music from Deborah’s upcoming orchestral DVD recording (more
on that soon).
