Just wanted to say that when you said that when you took lessons you didn’t enjoy them because you wanted to learn HOW music works, it gave me an idea to try something new with my six-year-old piano student who didn’t seem to be enjoying her lessons.
Today I had her write her own 4-measure song (with some guidance) and she LOVED it and had so much fun. Thanks for the inspiration!
