Patterns free us to speak and move with ease and expression in everyday life.  Without them, we’d be thinking through every step and word. And yet that’s exactly how many musicians try to play:  note by note, striving for perfection in each one.

But FREEDOM is about playing the MUSIC not the notes!

Musicians who improvise may seem like they’re ‘making things up,’ but in fact, they use a  toolkit of patterns: Melodic Patterns, Rhythmic patterns, Accompaniment patterns, Chord patterns.

You can use these patterns, too!
