What Harpists say about learning with DHC
It’s a break-away from being a slave to the page. I love that.~ Kristen Barry
DHC is so very different to anything else you are likely to have tried. Her method is literally freedom for us all, a method of self belief and worth that I have never had. Music for ALL with grounding of patterns and structures which literally let you take off. Connection not perfection. ~ Angela Evans
Gave me a strategy for learning other new music. ~ Patricia Howell Ging
DHC’s teaching is accurate and easy to absorb. Anyone can learn a lot.” ~ Keiko Ichijo
DHC is a great, motivational tutor, her way of teaching is unique, it will help you to step away from the notes and get creative. ~ Dimitra Fleissner
Do you want to play with FREEDOM??
Meet your creative coach Deborah Henson-Conant
I’m Deborah Henson-Conant, and I’ve been composing, arranging and creating shows since I was a kid. I now play shows with symphonies and on solo stages with the electric harp that was created for me by CAMAC Harps, the “DHC” Harp.
But I started on the ukulele, playing and singing my own little-kid arrangements, telling stories, improvising and playing and singing with other people. And guess what? I use many of the same skills and principles to arrange the music I record and perform today – including the Grammy-Nominated album “Invention & Alchemy” and the song that won first prize in the International Songwriting Competiton (ISC).
