PRIVATE LESSONS & COACHING ON THE ROAD:
Deborah is rarely able to give lessons while she is on the road because of the intensity of her performance schedule, but it is occasionally possible. Again, email info@hipharp.com for furthur information
PRIVATE LESSONS:
Please contact Deborah's office for current fee information. Most students come to Boston for intensive study for anywhere from one day to two months. Most lessons last for one or two hours. Students usually tape record the lessons, and usually return six months to two years later for the second set of coaching sessions.

Students of all levels are welcome. Before you come, we'll send you an orientation sheet and a list of questions for you to answer that will help Deborah custom the lesson time to what you most want to accomplish.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT A WORKSHOP?

WORKSHOPS: Deborah's "Half-Day" workshops are 3 - 4 hours each. Each half-day workshop can be split, with a short break between the two halves. Two half-day workshops can be scheduled in a single day. Please email our office at info@hipharp.com for current fee information.

Organizations can arrange workshops by emailing the office. If Deborah is not already performing in your area, expect to pay for transportation and lodging as well as workshop fees and to be told that there is a minimum of two full-day workshops.

Workshop materials for all participants are included in the price of the workshop.

To purchase the 100+/-page spiral-bound "WORKSHOP MATERIALS" from Deborah's 1996 Paris Conservatory Workshop, email us and ask for information on ordering "Lead Sheets & Sheet Music."

OTHER WORKSHOPS OR HARP FESTIVALS:

There are more and more workshops and festivals for harp players and harper wanna-be's. From what I've heard, they're really great. The "Edinburgh Harp Festival" each spring is a great festival for beginning to advanced harpers, especially of lever harps. "Beginning in the Middle" is a festival I've heard great things about, but haven't participated, so can't tell you more.

As of this writing, I don't have the time to list all the available festivals, but a Google Search might give yoiu some great results.

Occasionally Lyon & Healy presents a "Harpfest." At the Harpfest, you will be able to attend workshops by a variety of harp teachers and to sign up for lessons with several different teachers. For more information, call 1-800-621-3881, est. 107 or write to them at Lyon & Healy International Jazz & Pop Harpfest - 168 North Ogden Avenue - Chicago, IL 60607 U.S.A.
