"The
Zero Club" is a musical in progress. The most recent
workshop performance was in late 2006. This section
of the website is a scene-by-scene
synopsis of the play, with MP3s, Lyric Sheets and Sheet
Music for most songs and illustrations for scenes whenever
I have them. (Illustrations are by artist Heikki Vuoramnaa)
My
strategy with this "Scene-by-Scene" was to
make a kind of Audio Storyboard version of the musical,
where visitors can get a synopsis of each scene along
with a flavor of the dialogue. I've put each MP3 as
close as I can to where it would appear in the show,
along with pop-up window Lyric Sheets and Sheet Music.
Most of the MP3s are from the original production and
are archival-quality (i.e. not great sound quality).
In some cases I included alternate MP3s.
There
are better-quality MP3s of many of the songs on the
"Music" page,
but for this "Scene-by-Scene" section, I tried
to choose the audio that tells the story best, not necessarily
the best 'sounding' audio.
