Rescheduled Concert! I was only five minutes into my first rehearsal with the Thayer Symphony for our holiday concert when the lights in the hall flickered, sirens blared and we plunged into darkness. Everyone grabbed their instruments and muddled out using emergency lights. After an hour huddled in the icy rainstorm we learned the transformer had blown! It would take days to fix! We inched home over icy roads, then learned that thousands of homes were without power. Some are STILL in the dark even now, 10 days later!

If you already bought tickets to either of the original dates (Dec. 13 or 14), come celebrate the return of light in our rescheduled concert Dec. 27th at the Dukakis Performing Arts Center in Fitchburg, MA!  If you don't have tix already, or if you do and want confirmation, contact the Box Office (978-466-1800 x 11).
