Thanksgiving Playlists!
I
want to come to YOUR
house for Thanksgiving!!! I want
to hang out in the
kitchen and chop
your potatoes, hear
you talk about what's
challenging you these
days, and what you're
looking forward to.
I want to smell the
onions cooking, hear
the doorbell ring,
see who's coming
for dinner. I want
to be there when
you sit down to eat
--
and I want to be the
music playing on your Thanksgiving.
So
I'm REALLY excited
about the two new download
collections we just
made! Because
now I CAN be part of
your Thanksgiving!
We
picked our favorites
from all my CDs for
two collections - one for cooking, traveling
and preparing (upbeat
songs, vocals and toe-tap
Blues)
-- and the other
for sitting down
to eat (tasty, delicate
and savory instrumentals! Check
them both out, listen
to the whole collection,
download a couple cuts
for free, buy the collection
and then bring
me along in the
car, with
the pumpkin pie
wedged
in a box in the back seat. I'll
sing encouraging
songs as the traffic
slows, and you can
belt out the chorus
with me as things
starts zipping along
again. I want
to be part of the
part of the Thanksgiving
you bring to wherever
you're going!
So
thank
you! Thank you! Thank
you for sharing my
life in music!

This just in! The
Ignobel Ceremony
(where I played "The
World's Most Depressing
Russian Music" to
open the show) will
be aired on NPR's
"Science
Friday"
the day after Thanksgiving.
