This video tells a story of my own struggle to embrace the power of simplicity and I want to start with it because so often we become stuck in what we want to learn, or do, or create or express, because we’re trying to make it be something ‘more’ than the beautiful, simple thing that it is – and sometimes trying to hide ourselves behind complexity – worrying about being ‘impressive’ – when simplicity will reveal, and allow the true connection and expression which is the deepest reason we’re performing or playing in the first place.
