On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 7:30pm – as part of the Orchestra Gala at the 2014 AHS Conference in New Orleans, Deborah Henson-Conant’s Concerto for Harp and Orchestra, “Soñando en Español” will be performed by Harp Soloist, Eleanor Turner and The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, with Deborah herself as guest Conductor!

About the AHS Conference

The New Orleans Chapter of the American Harp Society is honored to host the 41st  American Harp Society National Conference! This summer’s gathering is themed “Harp Carnivale,” a celebration of our diverse harp community. Performances will feature solo, chamber, orchestral, concerto, and jazz harpists from our Southern region and beyond, including Deborah Henson-Conant’s Concerto for Harp & Orchestra, “Soñando en Español” performed by harp soloist Eleanor Turner & The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra with ?Deborah as Guest Conductor and she’ll also presenting her “Strings of Passion” concert/lecture.
