Deborah Henson-Conant & Hip Harp Academy Present:
An “In-Between the Music” Conversation
“Jung at Harp [2] – the Conversation Conitnues”
A conversation about music and … the principles of Jungian Analysis
“In Between the Music” is a series of conversations about music and how it connects, inspires and informs everything else in life … and how that connection goes both ways. In this 2nd video of the conversation I’m once again speaking with Jungian analyst – and harpist – Kathleen Wiley.

Yes, the trauma or the unhappy childhood can block that inner voice. As I felt in myself something to discover but hidden very deep. For me the practice of Qigong opened that door and the HipHarp lectures and lessons lit up the way..I am still marvelling at the discovery of this voice and the inclination to express it in composition… it’s like a different person in me….
I really love the way you said that, Vera: “It’s like a different person in me …” I would love to ask Kathleen to speak about that in our next “Jung at Harp” – I’ve heard people say, “It’s like I was a different persons” but this is a new idea for me “it’s like a new person IN me” – that’s great! I suspect that that new person may be the way I actually see you, and have always seen you. In other words: I have a feeling that that “different person” we start to see is the person everyone else has already been marveling at and enjoying.
This energy carrying us forward is echoing the Qigong ( the Art of Energy practice) idea that what we do out there is what the energy inside us is doing… was Jung practicing eastern arts?

I find so much of myself in this conversation.. specially the disconnection with oneself because of the conditions imposed from outside…. oh , how lost that feeling is…
Deborah, did you realize you were wearing two pr. of glasses? One on top of your head, and one on your nose….Which consciousness is that? 🙂
