I finished my Paris composing retreat last week and the last stop in my Europe adventure is Cardiff, Wales. Now that this month-long journey is nearing its end, the perfect way to top it all off is by a truly remarkable celebration.
I have been invited perform and conduct a harp workshop at the Cardiff Camac Harp Weekend 2024. This year’s event is special because it marks the 25th anniversary of Telynau Vining Harps being the Camac Harps’ distributor in the UK.
It’s a fantastic weekend of harp concerts, workshops, talks and masterclasses and I’m so thrilled to share with you how we celebrated this beautiful event.

Lovely Workshop …
It’s such a delight to help other harpists express themselves through the harp. This is me teaching all in attendance how to create their version of my show-stopper “Baroque Flamenco”.

After the celebration, my dear friend Shelley Fairplay – the visionary crafter of Fairplay Harp School – hosted a hybrid event called “Harp Night Live with Deborah Henson-Conant and Shelley Fairplay” to make this wonderful weekend more special. We thank everyone online and in person who joined and we loved seeing you all!
